This week, in advancement of my project I made a very valuable connection with one of the people who we are going to be interviewing for the project. His name is Letitbe and he lives on Hollywood Blvd. He is a homeless man who learned to speak English from the Bible and has a way of speaking similar to a preacher where he will often use teachings from the bible to formulate answers to questions. We got to speaking and I let him come over to my place for a shower and and a good night's rest. I met up with him again yesterday and took him to the Hare Krsna temple in Culver City where we went to the Sunday service and free meal. Soon we will be able to record the interview. Right now collecting the interviews is the biggest priority for our project along with connecting with Bridge to Home so we can volunteer and hopefully meet potential interviewees.
