week 7

WEEK 7 ASSIGNMENT

My collaborator and I last week went around Los Angles shooting our performance piece and it was a huge jump for our project. At first personally I was very nervous to get into this cocoon half naked in public share it with strangers. We first went to Hollywood and it was actually surprisingly fun people were engaged and asked Jocelyn questions when she was shooting. I also didn't even realize the people around me. When I got out of the cocoon I hugged it to keep it close with love. Later we went to union station and that was a total different experience. It was a closed space and busy and alot of people stopped to look at the piece and it turned out to be this emotional experience in which I didn't even know was going to happen. Later we spoke to people about it and it was shocking to see all these different interpretations. 

To recap I would say that personally with Jocleyn and my piece last week.

The challenge for me was actually performing it.

But it totally paid off !
